Late Surgery Sessions
 
This surgery offers late evening additional sessions for pre-booked routine appointments only.  To book these appointments, you must telephone the surgery between 8am & 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
 
These sessions are held at the following times:
 
Mondays at DURRINGTON surgery from 6:30pm  - 9pm
 
Home visits, telephone queries and urgent health problems will continue to be dealt with by the Out of Hours Service whose telephone number is 0300 111 5717               
 
Important

For *Emergencies you should attend the Accident & Emergency Department of your local hospital or dial 999

*An emergency is a critical or life-threatening situation, and includes things like: chest pain or suspected heart attack, head injury, severe loss of blood, severe breathing difficulties, loss of consciousness, deep wounds, suspected broken bones

Practice Management

Mrs Anna Morton (f)
Anna Morton joined the practice in July 2010. She has overall responsibility for the running of the practice and would be pleased to hear your views and suggestions regarding the services we offer. You can email her on avonvalley.practice@nhs.net

Administration

Mrs Nicky Griffiths (f)
Nicky is responsible for IT and Data Management. She is based at Upavon surgery but also works across the Practice as necessary.
Mrs Susannah Fielding (f)
Susannah works at Upavon and is responsible for the smooth running of administration in the general office with particular responsibility for appointment maintenance and for the cervical screening system
Mrs June Haddrell (f)
June is employed in a variety of essential administrative duties and is also responsible for making sure that each surgery is adequately stocked.
Mrs Sandra Drewitt (f)
Sandy works in the Office at Upavon dealing with non NHS work of all kinds, she is also a valued member of the note summarising team.
Mrs Helen Padfield (f)
Helen works in Reception at Upavon and Durrington, and is also responsible for ensuring that patients' medical records are summarisied onto the computer when new patients join the Practice.

Reception

Mrs Alison Rawle (f)
Alison works on reception at Durrington surgery and is also a part of the note summarising team.
Mrs Joce Steele (f)
Joce has worked for the Practice since 1992. She has now retired from being a stalwart at Durrington surgery but remains a vital member of the repeat prescription delivery team.
Mrs Ruth Vines (f)
Ruth is a Receptionist working at Upavon surgery and is also part of the repeat prescription delivery team.
Mrs Lesley Toulson (f)
Lesley works at Durrington surgery and lives in the village.
Mrs Samantha Sheppard (f)
Sam is a member of the reception team based at Durrington surgery.
Mrs Deborah Cull (f)
Deborah is part of the reception team at Durrington.
Miss Charlotte Redgrave (f)
Charlotte works as part of the reception team at Upavon and also in the Office where one of her main functions is sourcing less common drugs or those with supply difficulties.
Mrs Koren Scarrett (f)
Koren works at Durrington surgery and joined the team in 2006.
Miss Fran Woodcock (f)
Fran joined the reception team in March 2008 and works at Upavon surgery.
Mrs Nina Hammond (f)
Nina also joined the Practice in 2008 and works as part of the Upavon reception team.
