On the day home visits

If you, or someone you care for, requires a home visit, please contact the Practice at the earliest opportunity.

Routine home visits

For patients who are housebound it may still be necessary for a doctor, or a member of the Community Nursing Team, to visit you at home. These visits are usually arranged in advance.

Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to home visits. Kindly remember that several patients can be seen at the Practice in the time it takes to do one home visit.

There may also be occasions when the receptionist asks you to contact an ambulance straight away. If so, please do this immediately.
